Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a sales environment, has a passion for client satisfaction, and wants to make a meaningful impact by selling cutting-edge energy solutions. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will manage customer inquiries and requests for quotations, and support our frontline sales efforts. You will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
- Respond promptly to customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs), providing accurate information about our products and services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Conduct proactive prospecting through networking, client meetings, and other sales methods to generate new business.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and achieve sales goals.
- Provide product education, demonstrations, and use the Feature-Advantage-Benefit (FAB) sales process to highlight the value of our solutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including financing info, deal sheets, and product details.
- Maintain CRM records, including data hygiene, ensuring that all customer and prospect data is properly entered, updated, and managed.
- Participate in trade shows, expos, and events to promote Heimdall Power in the community and industry.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites and events as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of proven sales experience in B2C or B2B environments, preferably in industries related to energy, utilities, or technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you excel at building rapport with diverse personality types.
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, manage performance, and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Empathetic and client-centric, with a deep understanding of customer needs and a focus on providing tailored solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or business-related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
